Terms of service

Vendo is run by a small team in Kerala, India. Vendo gives local businesses a web page at web.getvendo.io/your-shop, a QR code that opens it, and a dashboard to manage offers, coupons, menus, orders, enquiries, loyalty cards and reports.

In these terms, "you" means the person or business that holds the Vendo account. "Visitors" means the people who open your page.

• You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you're allowed to act for it.
• Give us accurate details and keep your login safe. You're responsible for everything done through your account, including by staff you give counter access to.
• Tell us straight away at hello@getvendo.io if you think someone else has used your account.

New shops get a 14-day free trial with every feature. No card or UPI is needed to start. If you don't choose a plan by the end of the trial, your page goes offline; your content stays saved and comes back when you pay.

• Monthly: ₹100 a month, renewed automatically by UPI AutoPay until you cancel.
• Yearly: ₹999 a year, paid upfront.
• Custom design: ₹500 one time, for a page designed for your brand. Hosting is still billed on your monthly or yearly plan.

Prices are in Indian rupees. Taxes, where applicable, are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we don't see or store your card or UPI details.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

If a payment is missed, your page stays live for a 7-day grace period. After that it goes offline until you pay. Your content, QR code and web address are kept, so printed QR standees start working again as soon as you renew.

If an account stays unpaid for 12 months, we may delete it after emailing you at least 30 days in advance.

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future charges and your page stays live until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are covered by our Cancellation and refund policy: in short, you can get your money back on any payment within 30 days.

You own everything you put on your page: your shop name, logo, photos, offers, menu and prices. You give us permission to host, display and format it so we can run your page and show it to visitors, and to show your public page as an example of Vendo unless you ask us not to.

You're responsible for your page and your business, including:

• keeping prices, offers, opening hours and contact details accurate,
• honouring the offers, coupons and loyalty rewards you publish,
• the goods and services you sell, and any orders, payments, deliveries and refunds between you and your customers,
• holding the licences and registrations your business needs (for example GST or FSSAI), and
• having the rights to every photo, logo and piece of text you upload.

Vendo is a tool for your business. We aren't a party to sales between you and your customers.

When visitors send you an enquiry, place an order, join your loyalty card or subscribe to updates, their details are stored in your dashboard for you to use. For that data you decide how it's used and we process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy policy.

Use it only to serve those customers, and message them only in ways they've agreed to. Don't upload or import contact lists without the people's consent.

• Anything illegal in India, or goods and services that need a licence you don't hold.
• Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons, gambling, adult content, or anything else our payment partners don't allow.
• False or misleading offers, fake reviews, or pretending to be another business.
• Spam, phishing, malware, or collecting data you aren't entitled to.
• Trying to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or get into other people's accounts.

We may remove content or suspend a page that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

If you join the affiliate programme, you earn 30% of payments from shops you refer, on the terms published at https://getvendo.io/affiliates. Those terms form part of these.

We work hard to keep Vendo running all the time, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or an outage at one of our providers.

We keep improving Vendo and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important you're paying for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel with a prorated refund.

The Vendo software, design, name and logo belong to us. Your plan gives you a right to use them for your page while your account is active; it doesn't transfer ownership.

Vendo is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

You'll compensate us for claims made against us because of your content, your products or how you use your customers' data.

You can close your account anytime by writing to hello@getvendo.io. We'll take your page offline and delete your data as described in the Privacy policy.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where it's fair, we'll refund the unused part of a prepaid plan.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first; most problems are sorted out quickly. If a dispute can't be resolved, the courts at Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll email you at least 15 days in advance. If you keep using Vendo after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a complaint or a request about your personal data, you can escalate it to our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days of receiving it.
